I had a bad experience on ebay
  1. I bought 2 BDU belts shipped from China $7.95+$3.00 shipping
  2. canceled the order 20 seconds later and they refused to honor the cancellation
  3. I bought a 1 BDU Rothco belt made in the USA shipped from New York $10.49 shipped free

A BDU belt is a military belt -- this one has a plastic buckle -- you can leave it on in the airport security line -- it is non-metallic.

Point is the product is 1/2 the cost -- the difference made MAY be in the belts quality -- I am stuck with both orders. Maybe, the Chinese belts will make good luggage bands?

I really don't care where the belts are made; only the cost, quality and delivery convenience. Generally speaking USA made products are better quality and higher cost -- you get what you pay for SOMETIMES.

I remember the time I bought a cheap diagonal cutter plier from India (cheap) it was useless. I always buy Channellock pliers (still do) they are USA made and top quality -- worth the price and last forever (unless you lose them).

I bought a Woolrich tactical long sleeve cotton knit shirt -- top of the line brand but "Elite" -- made in China -- beautiful quality. This is not cheap Chinese shit like you find at Wally World.

You have to look at the big picture -- we are now a global market

Interesting how the bls.gov website is down for maintenance -- the Trump administration is fixing it?

Not slave wages -- they are WORLD WAGES.
