Looking to possibly redo the whole site, but we need to make new business cards so I want to get settled on a logo first.

doesn't having a professionally designed logo cost more than $100?

or $250?

I mean... these contests are great and all and really show off some amazing talent... but it seems to me this is just becoming the common way to get expensive work done cheap.

Maybe all the designers should make some sorta pact.

Design contests should have minimum "Price" amount schedual.

Logo's: 500.00 Minimum
Tours 1000.00 Minimum

Somthing.

You designers out there you may not realise what an incredible promotion the "Contest" provider is getting from the hype of your design efforts.
C-mon folks some of you got sponsors buying your sig for god's sakes. What you get is hardly a fricken prize in some/most cases.

In alot of the contests I dare say the designers are the looser's by not realising the promo they are providing as our minds compete to create a good creative work.

Its more than a Showcase for your portfolio's it is simply somebody ripping ya off for your talent.

I plea for $500.00 Minimum on any designer contest.

Not like you designers will agree but it is my worth on the "Contest" subject.
