Trump fucked up. He was trying to protect our country, but because of his complete lack of political experience he did so on his own with little thought about how it would be done, who it would upset, and the lives it would destroy. Trump has the entire US government and all of it's vast resources at it's disposal, and instead of going through the State Department and coming up with a legal viable plan they did it all on their own.
Now that they know what they did wrong, they've gone back and fixed it. Hopefully they have done with support and assistance from both the Justice Department and State Department. And hopefully this time they will give advance notice to US Customs who have to handle all of this.
This is going to be a problem with the Trump administration. Because of their lack of experience, they will attempt do just "do whatever they want" without caring about the damage they do. There is a lot of distrust between the Trump administration and the government employees, and this will cause a lot of ongoing problems.Herschel Savage

Trump also has yet to fill hundreds of open positions in the Whitehouse. Most of these positions were non partisan and stay with all administrations but Trump, being insecure & paranoid had everyone resign by inauguration day, including every ambassador in every country. Idiot.

They teach that in junior high school civics class.
