Jimmi, I didnt start this, really hate to be involved at all. I'm just stating my experience with Due, who has been good to me. Just because he's a mild mannered person, does not me he should be taken advantage of.

I am not really going to say much about the current task at hand between Due and this particular situation because I wasn't behind the scenes with it and don't know what was said back and forth between the two..... so I can't really comment on that part.

HOWEVER, what I can comment on is that I have done so much business with Due in the past 10 years that I can honestly give an opinion on his work ethics and the way he deals with things honestly and upfront..... he has NEVER ever been anyting but honest with me and upfront about everything.

There was a time when I did some text work for him, a few years back, and he was picky, that I'll give anyone, but he's successful because of that picky thing.... and no it didn't always stay on point or whatever, minds would change and visions would change in the process of doing things with him...... but ALWAYS I agreed to the changes and never asked for more money in the process of making said changes, and this is MY fault, for telling him I'd make the changes, not his. If I had said "I'll make the changes and it'll cost you more" then he would have paid more, but when you agree to make changes and nothing is said about paying more then you eat that, not the client..... this should be made up front from the word go.

Sooooooooo....... while I have never done any business whatsoever with Alien, I HAVE done both business and friendship with Due and he's never ever been anything but professional, respectable and kind to me... not even one time.

Ye - as I said - learnd the hard and expensive way. Not exactly a senario im proud of today when looking back

1. That design sucks ass for $1750
2. I can totally understand where AlienQ is coming from. I've had my fair share of clients infinitely requesting changes. I think it's best to list the work you're going to do, the amount of changes and the price for additional changes. Be organised (this is for both the designer AND the client).
