Porn Business Books

I actually ordered and read a book before entering this biz. But thats how I am, I always plan things seriously (well, being on GFY changed things for the worse, but nvm

)

The book was "insane profits - guide on how to make money in the adult business" or sth like that.
I also read pornresource and xbiz back then carefully. But that was years ago.

Today Im not sure if there are any good books. Actually the industry is changing faster than ever nowadays, I doubt there are books telling how to profit from tubes or do adult blogs or how to get traffic in other ways.

There are obviously tons of good business books overall but most of they don't reveal any secrets either, they rather give you the proper attitude or a better business mind. Some people have these things without any books already anyway.

To sum up, no book will tell you how to make money in online adult in 2009. You need to learn all that by yourself

Can't really comment on the video part but I wouldn't expect to find a "step by step" guide either.

One of my fave mainstream books about web design called _Trains of Thought_ - it really focuses on the psychology of what site visitors want & is very applicable to adult, maybe even more so than mainstream.

It's too old and too much about flash to be a "how to", but is awesome for getting the APPROACH right.

These are all general books but will have more benefit than any "industry" related book could ever hope to have.

Tammix, I've considered something like that for a while. Probably multiple books for each aspect of this biz (content production, membership sites, affiliate sales, etc). I'm a fairly good editor & have background in corp training.
