1 month of server logs = 24Gb. Is that absurd or normal?

    1 month of server logs = 24Gb. Is that absurd or normal?

    I'm pretty sure my stats scripts are going insane.

    1 month worth of logs are using over 24Gb of disk space.

    Is that normal for a 150k/day site? Or is it just too big??

    I've never seen logs as huge as these.
    I'm just a newbie.

      That's a bit much, maybe your server logs every little fart it makes. Which logs grew so big, maybe take a look at Apache if you can turn down the logging levels.

                  If it's logging that much shit the load must be pretty adversely effected. 24gb of text is a LOT.

                          BTW, I've turned off loggin on most of my servers anyway, if you don't need it for stats, or to detect any errors in scripts etc. it's not really needed IMHO
