    Porn site xHamster is redirecting traffic from Utah to sex ed videos


    In response to lawmakers in Utah rejecting a proposal that would have allowed optional sex education classes in public schools, a pornography website is currently redirecting all of its traffic from the state to sex ed videos.

    In a blog post, xHamster claimed it gets more web traffic from Utah than any other state, and that it wants to do its part to educate the public on safe sex.

    “Beginning immediately, we’re rerouting all xHamster traffic from Utah to our comprehensive sex ed series, The Box,” xHamster wrote. “We’ve been working on The Box since last year, producing videos based on questions submitted by porn viewers."

    Utahans who visit xHamster are now greeted by a message reading, "Utahans consume the most porn per capita of any U.S. state. Can we turn the thirstiest state in the nation into the smartest?" Users have the option to continue to the porn site if they so choose.

                          Stipulates? Jel, you're Totally wrong here. They started allowing this recently, and this is absolutely not a mandatory. Most of the rewatermarking these days are done with content owner's written permission btw fyi

                          Also, assuming that you need to play the good-guy card for good content position: this is plain wrong too. The videos my company is editing are usually hitting the home page, but everyone has the same chance to get there, I do nothing special to get into those spots.

                                                      For me, Getting money out of the xhamster crowd is impossible. I create a profile with pics taken from pornhub community and put the nudes behind a locked album. I ask for 50 cents paypal. Those guys won't pay it. They spend all day begging for it for free.

                                                                  Pretty clear cut they stipulate users cannot upload vids with watermarks, ergo, surfers crop copyrighted clips to strip the paysite logo out (separate discussion from rewatermarked clips). Any site that does this (being a tube site has fuck all to do with it btw Barry) isn't exactly hiding their intent
