truth is most of the movies you can download from those sites are crap quality.. some douchebag in a theater filming it with a digicam.. and you can hear the people coughing or laughing and sometimes walking in front of the camera. Its ridiculous.. rarely you can find hi-quality screeners leaked from hollywood but now you're really breaking the law right?

don't ya want a good picture? fuck the garbage.. I think anyone playin with that stuff ultimately realizes its garbage and goes out and continues to buy dvds or rents it on satellite or whatever.

So the thing is, theres still tons of illegal movies on these sites, even if they're
hoping to someday become legit launchpads for legal movies with all their traffic..
its the ol break the law until they're forced to clean up their act routine.. sad but this method has always worked.. until one day the doorbell rings and they're busted.

With 50+ inch HDTVs, Bluray and 6.1 surround, even the draw of the theatre experience is dead.

I used to go to the theatre multiple times each week. I think we've gone 2-3 times this year. But my Bluray collection has over 100 titles. They're still getting our $20 or so.
