What tv shows do you take time to watch each week?

In our house, there are now very few shows that we take time out to sit and watch every week at their actual show times. Instead we tend to tivo/sky plus the season and watch it back to back or get a box set and do it that way. Which shows do you still feel the need to watch at air time?

For us it is Lost (whenever it comes back) and Dexter and used to be Heroes but we decided to watch it all in one go at the end of the season this time.

Desperate housewives, 24, Prison Break, True Blood, Weeds, Supernatural, East Enders.

Wow. Looking at that I'm a total tv junky. We do the same. Record for when we can watch them.

I watch Friday Night Lights and Big Bang Theory. From time to time I watch the Amazing Race or Survivor if they have people on that season I can root for, so I don't always watch that.

I also watch Battlestar Galactica when it is on, but it is just about over. I watch Football and Baseball, but overall I watch very little TV

Big Bang Theory is our guilty pleasure at the moment but it has a mega delay time between the States and the UK so we tend to get them in batches and watch that way.

We *really* wanted to like Chuck. We have enjoyed Adam Baldwin in so many things over the years and we are all about the geeks but it just didn't grab us. We liked the stuff in the store and then the rest was too 'eh' for us. It reminded me of Jake 2.0 and that got canned half way through a season.

We starting watching that and Big Bang at the same time and Big Bang won us over for the geekness.

We also like Reaper which sort of feels like the same category of shows.

Big Bang Theory seems to make me laugh every week. I think it is because, as a self-described geek, I find humor in much of it and the girl that plays Penny seems to get hotter every week.

Boston Legal had its moments, but the series ended last night, so that's out..

Dexter, Californication are recorded to watch when I can..
Chuck and B.B. Theory are a must watch for some strange reason..

Started watching The Mentalist.. Kinda neat.. I like the guy's demeanor..

Desparate Housewives and Bothers & Sisters are good for a Sunday night..

Is it sad if I think I would enjoy being their friends? I have always been a geek groupie. They made a choice of making Penny the odd one out rather than making it like the geek world was the 'weird one' in the show. It saved her character from being too annoying and allowed the show to have real geek jokes. That one episode last year when they were all playing Halo was too close to being true in our lives.
