If you don't think surfers don't deliberately go out of their way to NOT click a link anymore and do a type in instead...then I would say you're not taking human nature into account.

I think you are so right on this concept, and it is coming on strong in mainstream as well.
Surfers are becoming ad-blind, but when they do actually want to buy somethng they are becoming more comfortable with ensuring that they are visiting a site directly by typing in rather than trusting a link taking them somewhere.

Up until a couple of years ago the majority of them didn't know...and more importantly didn't NEED to know what an affiliate program even was. Much less all the other things that have been laid out there. It's called exposing the business.
I'm just telling you that these days, I'm seeing major type in sales. And on my tgps, making a sale is getting harder. And when I speak with other paysite owners I'm told the same thing about type ins.
So if type in sales are going up...that by it's very definition DOES mean that they are typing it in.-Robbie
