Not an excuse - I don't make excuses for anyone...it's just a fact that both parties have gone extreme centrist - and the number one factor that drives that is money...lots of it..
It is my belief (for what it's worth) that if the parties ever went back to their fundamentals, the states would change colors so fast it would make your head spin...then we could have real changes - but I'm pretty confident that won't happen
It doesnt matter how many people vote for each party - the real problem is that neither party is putting anyone out there that can even get 50% of the population to vote
