Oh I totally agree - unfortunately both parties are that way - which is why Trump is having so much trouble from the congress privately....there are some in the Senate who are eyeing his VP right now as at least he stands for real conservatism to a higher degree than what Trump puts on as an act.
I would be extremely surprised if congress really does anything that Trump wants...and just keeps putting through their versions of laws that will just sit there at a standstill.

Just to clarify...the real right wing hasn't come back out of the woodwork...yet. I think they will once the Supreme Court nominee gets put in front of them...the guy that Trump is going to put in there is another closet centrist...and congressional real conservatives will fight it - they've been fucked once before
