its true, i have been hired by your competition to find dirt on you. After a tedious, 6 month investigation, i hit the jackpot by discovering this gemHowever, I don't quite know what your motives are for creating this thread listing two threads, one which was on the front page, and the other which was over a year old and trying to somehow say that it is some sort of deficiency unique to the NATS platform. The fact that you carry no sig and don't identify yourself to anything in this business only makes me wonder more about those motives.Comment

who are you and its obvious you have a secret agendaComment

It would have been nice to have been able to say "as I have never had access myself to our client's data. We have never stored any passwords (server or admin) and we have always requested access when needed and requested its removed when we're done. "
Anyway, the thread title is really misleading and crap. This has nothing to do with NATS, more to do with a badly run affiliate-driven business

i think the point of the thread was that a badly run affiliate-driven business would still get a check if they were using ccbill or epoch

Spankbuxx is another NATS client that currently seems to be going down in flames with many unhappy unpaid affiliates: GFY thread
That said, as an affiliate I prefer to see a NATS implementation over almost any other, because in my experience people using NATS are the most likely to have an effective billing cascade in place that actually converts my traffic. I'm not a NATS hater and I admire the product.
A fairer way to make the point in the original post would have been to contrast third party billers (in general) with inhouse billing-and-affiliate software providers (in general). The fundamental business distinction between these two approaches to the biz is an important one, although I think most affiliates who have been around the block already understand and "get it". We've also seen third party billers fail and take our money with them (remember iBill?) so it's really just another business tradeoff like the dozens we make every day.Offering sponsored blog posts and custom writing services.Comment

personally i the only thing i really want nats to do is support multiple campaign codes at the same time.
if you have multiple sites and multiple sources of traffic it would be nice to be able to track the which combinations result in the best success. right now you have to composite those two into a single arguement (ie dailyfreegalleries-chokertraffic)
if multiple keywords were allowed dailyfreegalleries, chokertraffic
you could drill down look at the site statss dailyfreegalleries or look at chokertraffic cross all your sites, or see how choker traffic does with dailyfreegalleries.Comment
