I was offered $1000 for..

the offer was not based on the amount of traffic it gets or the money it makes.. It's based mainly on the age. I registered this domain in 1999.

ok so if I got an offer than why am I posting here? Well, to start, I'm waiting for the guy that made the offer to get back to me and 2 I wanna see if there's anyone else interested in buying it at that price or higher.

As I said, this sale has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of traffic or money generated. On this there is a very low traffic TGP, a test tube site that gets maybe 10 to 20 uniques/day, it'll come with a version of AGP which I will give you the login info for http://jmbsoft.com/ as well as all files that are currently on the server which I have already backed up. Also, I have a backed up copy of the AGP database as well as the html for the index page and the submit page.

I'm sure that I will get some laughs from this, but I don't care. $1000 or more takes it. If you offer more than $1000 and actually finalize the sale I will throw in plaful18.com. Payment by epassporte. Domains are registered at GoDaddy

It's a decent name, I do think you should take the money and run.

Most domain buyers buy for age OR typos. SEO's buy for age because they know they can dump a ton of inbounds on the domain and start ranking right away, where as a domainer who is just looking to add to a portfolio will look for domains that don't need development.

the reason that I'm selling this domain (I won't go into complete details) is because over a year ago my dad ended up in the hospital and shortly after things went bad.. He got worse, almost a vegetable etc.. etc.. after 9 months of being in the hospital he gets put into a nursing home which takes 99% of his monthly income (his pension)

He has a hard time remembering things, can no longer walk and is no totally out of $ and cannot actually enjoy himself. So I decided to sell this domain and use some of the money from the sale to help my dad have some spending money while in the nursing home. So if I sound desperate forgive me. I'm just trying to do what I can for my dad.
