    Shooting porn in countries where it is illegal?

    I've seen a few websites in countries where it is illegal to film and watch, how do they get away with shooting with local girls?

    Philippines, Thailand.. and I'm sure a lot more countries?

      If you look at my paysites that shoot in South Asia, it looks like the productions are small and mainly take place in hotel rooms. That along with keeping a low profile and probably blocking IP addresses from those countries is probably how they do what they do.

          I think the days of amateurs getting away with it are numbered. At least in SE Asia and E Asia.

          China - very illegal. Probably execute you for it.

          Points south...bring lots of bribe money and pray you don't fuck the local constabularies daughters.

          Blocking IP addresses is half a cure unfortunately. People abroad can join, download then upload to sites you have no control over that cater to those markets where adult is blocked.

          The UN is doing its best to kill the AV business in Japan through efforts of NGO's. Uncensored could very well be a thing of the past except in small quantities. Sad really.

          A bi-product of populism as exhibited by UK and US' new leadership is not being very friendly to porn. It'll change in a few years most likely. Vice can never be destroyed 100%. After all, we are lowly humans.

                      But uncensored Japanese AV distribution has never been legal (from a Japanese standpoint). Uncensored may have hit a big hurdle this week, but I don't think censored at least is going anywhere. The industry has some pretty strong self-regulation along with a police connection (the higher-ups at ethics companies).

                              I occasionally work with a guy that films and distributes in Saudi Arabia. When I asked how he gets away with it his response is simply "I went there and made some contacts."

                              And that was my 1000 post

That way the number of models available to producers has fallen sharply. It's getting very difficult to recruit any talent at all.

                                      Through the efforts of Jake Adelstein's (The ass-prick who wrote Tokyo Vice) Lighthouse and the NGO "Human Rights Now" they've managed to get almost 2 dozen models to come forward with claims of being forced/coerced to do AV. The first model came back to Av several times having shot more than 400 movies. Her case was more related to new boyfriend no-likey. The other girls, could very well be true. Probably is true.

                                      This affects the entire business as agencies, soaplands, everyone is under fire. There is no censored and uncensored agency differentiation only models who will and will not shoot uncensored.

                                      There are even calls for studios to relinquish their copyrights after just a few years, meaning the videos go away. Except for pirate sites.

                                      Their is also a call for and some production companies, and some are doing it now to their regret, to have a recap of the shoot and a signing of a new document by the models saying they agree to everything to be shot on the day. This doc was already done before shoot day but the NGO's know that some girls will get cold feet and say fuck it and leave set.

                                      People should be careful of folks who claim all is well or just a bump in the road. If you are planning to head to Japan and try and shoot...think twice. Good chances it won't be a happy ending. Shooting might be ok, maybe. But getting the content out...is a whole other story.

                                                                                          As the Jigster wrote, it's illegal from a Japanese perspective. However, if uncensored porn distribution is legal where your company/server is, then it's legal there. This is how there are uncensored Japanese porn paysites. None are hosted in Japan. The only thing Japan about them is that their content is shot there and stars Japanese people.

                                                                                                              It might be decades before the average income in China is up to that of the West, but the fact is China has a population the size of the USA and Europe combined...and then some. I would assume that, for example, there are already more people in China with the incomes to purchase porn than there are in the UK, and the UK market isn't something to be ignored.

                                                                                                              Well I wouldn't be surprised at all if government officials in China are fapping away to their memberships of hardcore webcam sites then passing laws to execute Chinese webmasters or to have the homes of thousands of ordinary Chinese raided for doing the same.
