Decided to sign up for a paxum account in order to get paid by pimproll who have decided to stop issuing checks. In pre discussions with Ruth I was informed that the straightforward 'Withdraw to bank account' option that I wanted to use was not available at this time, but I decided to make an account anyway, so if I get money paid in from pimproll, I can at least do an exchange with 'Chosen' (Or Similar) and get it sent to my paypal...
So as an avid GFY reader I was aware that the sign up process, and the sending of documents to get approval etc can be somewhat bothersome, but not being in any rush, I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly straight forward signup and I decided to send my driving license as proof of ID as it also had my address on it.
First time I was rejected. Apparently I hadn't shown the 'edges' of my license, which confused me as the scan stopped where the edges stopped - There was no more to show, but I put my thinking cap on, re-scanned with some white space around the license and re-submitted. Less than 24 hours later my account was verified and all restrictions lifted.
In all a very painless sign up. A lot easier than I expected from my reading of posts on GFY...
Now I just need my parked domains to generate me enough commission to warrant a payout!
