    Who Cleans Your House?

    I used to clean every other day after I was done with work, but my mom has been staying with us for the last few months and she had been cleaning.
    Except that about a month ago she stopped (no idea why, she just didn't mop the floors anymore). So now when I'm done working at 5PM, I have to clean myself. It sucks!

    Should I hire a maid? Here you can get someone for about $20 a day to clean the whole house. Or should I ask my mom to start cleaning again?

    anyway, who cleans your house?

          If your mom's there she should do it. I'd force her to do it. I'd say "Clean or get the fuck out"

          She's just mooching off you at this point. She either cleans or pays rent. That's the choice I give my kids. I don't give a shit if they are just 3 and 7. They'll either clean or get a swift kick in the ass.

                          I get my house clean every week for $120 a month, best money I've ever spent. Place is spotless when they leave. I live in San Diego so there are all kinds of Mexican ladies looking to clean houses for money.

                              We have a lady come once a week. We pay her 100.00 per pop.

                              Im thinking its a bit high.. I know I could do it myself. Hell I work out of the home. But it would never get done if I got rid of her.

                              100.00 a time just seems high. thats 400.00 a month that I could be using elsewhere I always say. But she does good work.

                              And no she's not hot. She's my moms age. And very mother like nice.

                                                  We pay 90 every other week for her to do all the big stuff and we handle the small day to day stuff. My opinion is if you can make more in the time it takes to do something you can pay someone else to do for less then pay it.

                                                                              I have a maid come in once a week (Mondays) for about 4 hours. She does my laundry, cleans everything, does any dishes I left out (rare), washes down both terrazas, etc.. $20 a pop.. can't beat it..

                                                                              Except when she bleached a bunch of my new clothes.. that really sucked.. about $500 out the window in one day..

                                                                              Oh.. and the time she rinsed my wireless keyboard in the sink.. that wasn't terribly helpful, either..

                                                                                          maid comes 6 days a week, 10 hours a day... when she's not cleaning (make her do a full detail cleaning every day) we have her run errands, do the shopping, laundry, ironing and stuff...

They do surface cleaning primarily... floors, carpets, kitchen, bathroom, dusting.

                                                                                                                                                                              I take out the trash and clean the living room (which also has my office in it). She cleans the kitchen and the bathroom. The bedroom is free for all but since thats where she spends most the time while i'm working she tends to clean that too.

                                                                                                                                                                              Also, she deep cleans when she is pissed off. So, I tend to pick fights with her and just watch her go.

Sucks cleaning the floors on our hands and knees though but only takes about 30 minutes. Every fucking thing we have tried leaves nasty streak marks so we have to use just plain water and dry it up right away.
