You going to trust what a guy working at Best Buy says? Most of the time they dont know shit about anything.
If you like the old Mortal Kombat games, then you'll probably like the new one. I bet the guy at Best Buy wasnt even born when the first Mortal Kombat hit the arcades.Comment

But you can ask someone if warcraft is a good game, someone may say it sucks, another may say its awesome.
The new Mortal Kombat is great, if you like the Mortal Kombat series. But if you are a Hello Kitty's Island Adventure kind of guy, then you may not like Mortal Kombat at all.Comment

I'm still hooked on COD4 online. I want to get Saints Row 2, I liked the first one. GTA4 was weak IMO, didn't like it much. I also want to get COD Worlds at War, that looks cool.

COD 5 right now, before that COD4.
My buddies all LOVE Gears of War (I hated it), they waited in line for Gear of War 2, now when I see them online, they are all still playing Gears 1. So that should tell ya something.Comment

to me an xbox 360 is worthless without xbox live
the multiplayer games is where its at, and it's less then a game to get Live for a full year so, if you're low on cash, make sure it's one of ur first purchases before buying a few games
Call of Duty 5 is good, 4 was better but I still like 5 a lot, new maps, and this one has CAPTURE the flag!
Halo 3 is a very solid game if you've never played it, I havent played it much lately but it's gotten a lot of playing time from me and still will in the future.
GTA 4 was good for a single player game
Gears of War 2, it's good, but I haven't really touched it too much since Cod 5 came out.

Definitely hold off if you have limited time. I got a 1 month Xbox Live subscription as a gift, and when it expired I was hooked. I then got a 3 month one to just try and ween myself off of it...LOL!! Now I have a full year subscription. You get hooked so playing online

Tom Clancy's Endwar is my main game right now.
Only get it for the on-line though. You play against 1 other person in a real-time war. You control infantry, helicopters, tanks, transports, artillery, airstrikes, etc. I've had some epic battles that went back and forth for a half hour.
