    Rant Women are heightists!

    Anyone every use Tinder and the other dating apps? Many of the ladies on there are total heightists. "Must be at least 6 feet tall" and other such 'requirements' are common. To a 5'9'' dude like me, I find this prejudiced and in poor taste - it's like if I had a weight 'requirement' that I posted in my profile, "Must be less than 120 pounds." Sure, I can THINK that to myself, but to post it out in the open is tawdry.

          A lot of women like tall guys but you do have a point. If you had posted anything about their weight I'd hazard a guess your inbox would be inundated with angry "she-devils" bitching you out for being so shallow.

          There's irony here, and it isn't in the womenses favor.

                                          I mean, you're on a dating/hookup site where pictures do all the talking, it's shallow but what did you expect? Everyone has a preference, and bitching about women's preferences (where you yourself have just as many if not more) just because you don't meet *her* standards is just silly and shows insecurity.

                                          Besides, men list their age preferences for women all the time in their profiles. In fact, I used to see a lot of dudes who are 35+ list their age preferences from 20-30 But again, no reason to get offended or think "NOT FAIR!" Not everyone wants to date a "shorter" person(even if I think 5'9 is plenty) just like not everyone wants to date someone overweight or too tall, or someone they consider to be too old for them

                                              I get it with that, but that's a very flawed way of thinking. Like comparing foot size to dick size.

                                              The toughest fuckers I've ever known have collectively been UNDER 6' tall. Height has nothing to do with strength. Actually strength, skills and drive has everything to do with strength. If she's looking for safety... learn martial arts, stay out of bad areas, and carry a permitted weapon lol... that'll minimize chances of victimhood.

                                                                              Ivana - I like you and generally love your posts, but here it's almost as if you didn't even read what I wrote.

                                                                              Of course they can have their preferences, my POINT was that it's in bad taste to list something like in public on their profile.. I would get TONS of shit from women if I wrote "must be below 120 pounds" on my profile, so how is it any different for them to write, "must be at least 6 feet" on theirs?

                                                                                          Eh... to SOME degree you do when you are young. I did not get adequate sleep during my teen years at all and I abused my body somewhat as well with substances. I think I for sure stunted my growth an inch or three as a result since I literally stopped growing at 16 and fell a few inches short of what was predicted when I was a young kid. But that's a whole other matter lol
