i just got a new 360 elite today so i could play left4dead, and then i got back and found out i have no god damn xboxlive to play it. is there anywhere a guy can buy an instant ready to go xbox live gold membership online?

Watched Blackdog pick up Rock band 2 for the first time today and just started playing on Expert not having seen the songs prior and did really well 4 an 5 stars every song

I like it. You can stream netflix movies right to your tv and you can install games to the HDD. On Gears of War the load times are about twice as fast from the HDD.

Angry Jew Cat, you can also buy a gold card at Best Buy or even 7 eleven and just enter the code. I don't think you need a credit card with those.

I have a 360 elite also, but I got left4dead for my pc, cause I hate playing 1st person shooter games with a game controller. So much prefer my keyboard and mouse for that.

I did pick up the new mortal kombat for the 360, and its alot of fun.

As for the new 360 dashboard, it sure takes some getting used to.

Been playing COD 5. Like 4 better but 5 is still good. New XBL is sweet. So much easier to use. I will have to check out Netflix on it.

I bulldoze my way through both storylines already. can't wait to get online and play a little. the new dc characters in the mortal kombat environment have actually surprised me. i was expecting to hate on it, but it's really good...

ok I installed COD4 to the hard drive...But you still have to put the disc in when you play so what's the use besides maybe not wearing out the CD drive too fast.
