      How could they not look in the brief case? If they did, I cant imagine they would have thrown the fucking thing out!

              Maybe the case was locked, and the criminal didn't want to spend the time to pick it or find bolt cutters.

              Also, $250k in cash would be pretty heavy.. perhaps he thought it was a laptop or something else, figured it wasn't worth it and tossed the shit. Oh well.

              I always say that 99.9999% of the population are completely incapable of successfully committing a crime. They don't have the brains, the nerve, or the ability to keep their mouth shut and not spend beyond their means once they pull the heist.

              The scary part is, that we have no clue who the small sliver of the population is who can get away with crime, because they probably are

                              As for the guy, he won $113 million and now he's gambling it? $500 fuckin k? He should stay at home with Leisure Suite Larry or something...

                              I just hope he's getting a solid amount of interest on the some-$100-million he probably has left after an initial spending spree... if not, I smell another "I was rich but I blew it!" story coming very, very soon.
