Seriously, they say "your tax dollars" but in reality "our tax dollars" only pays the interest on the debt the country owes. Look it up.
So if we all didn't pay, then the country would not be able to cover the interest on the debt and do further into debt like most American people do when they get in over their head with interest rates they can't pay.Comment

What if everyone emptied their bank accounts, did not go to work and refused to pay taxes?
The government would have a tough road to hoe. If the people stop working and there is no money to steal from their accounts and no money being paid to support the endless spending, then they are fucked. The bottom line is you have power in numbers and there are not enough people willing to go all the way and give up everything to pursue this.
Our mainstream company is having hard times just like any other company and we are not getting a bailout.
If anything, the government should have taken that trillion dollars and sent it to the tax paying citizens. I am sure this would have stimulated more spending and the economy would be doing better than it is now.
