    Rant Is this a veritable sign of getting old?

    Last weekend a couple tried to hook me up with one their female friends. It was sort of covert operation: they invite you to their house for a drink, and casually the spinster shows up (mainly to obliterate cigarette after cigarette in front of my face).

    Fortunately she was far more interested in knowing which psychiatric drugs were available on the guests' house.

    It was embarrassing and lonely. Feel like I'm finally scraping the bottom of the romance barrel.
