How does your grocery store Rate?

I shop at Trader Joes which is known to be one of the healthier grocery stores and their prices aren?t too bad either!

What are some of your decision factors when choosing a grocery store? Location? Prices? Organic foods? Prepared Foods? You will be surprised on some of the stores that made the list!

We have Wegman's here where I live. They are consistanly voted the #1 grocery chain and even the #1 company in the country to work for. They didn't make that Top 10 list, but they do have an organic section that's even bigger than the local organic only grocery stores.

    Spend you some brain.

I live in the ghetto so it's hit or miss. I never buy produce or meat there, I usually get that in a nicer grocery store near work. But its all about selection, quality, and price.

i go for price and healthiness. i usually shop at trader joes (for specialty health foods and meats), meijer (for any general stuff, the best prices around), and a local market for fresh meat and seafood.

I live in BFE and we have IGA so not much of a selection and if we want to shop anywhere else, its a 45 minute drive.

For a supermarket I use a regional chain called Raleys. (much better than Safeway) We currently do not have a whole paycheck, or a trader joes (being built). I also use the asian markets a whole lot when shopping. They often have the cheapest and freshest vegetables and such. Then of course a variety of farms and the farmers markets we have too.
