    Is anybody worried at how censored youtube is?

    They are really going crazy censoring that thing. I mean I understand nudity but they are censoring all kinds of weird shit. Not only did they delete my youtube page with the same fight videos that air on national Tv, they are blocking things like... Snowboard / Skateboard stunts that are too dangerous, whacky political views and nobody can do anything about it.


    Do you think this kind of censoring is coming soon to the internet. Something tells me that if google got pressure from the right person that they would just censor all adult sites overnight and completely take them out of the search results.

    I mean its scary It seems like something that would never happen but I bet you google could destroy online adult with the click of a mouse.

              Australia is already starting a test trial on their internet censorship program. United States also has some plans in the works, some headed by Joe Lieberman who says Youtube is used by Al Qaeda to recruit. I'd say within 5 years or so the Internet will be totally controlled and censored, free speech is going to shit.

                                      They are trying to get mainstream advertising dollars. Coca Cola can't advertise stuff that is illegal or grossly dangerous. People will sue or create banning campaigns. It is less sinister then you think and more to do with $$$.

                                                                      People get confused about free speech and what it entitles them to.

                                                                      It doesn't mean you can say or write anything you want on someone else's dime. If you work for IBM, you can't run around the office saying you hate black people and expect them to pay you. You'll get fired. Although you are free to run around on your own saying you hate black people.

                                                                      Same with Youtube, you are free to make your own web server and post whatever the fuck you want (as long as it's legal), you just can't do it on their dime if they don't like it.

                                                                      Slapass also makes a good point about trying to attract advertising.

                                                                                              He said he went to the police about it and that my rights as an administrator of the site would be removed.

So whats to stop them from killing the adult biz overnight, I mean since it's their house, their rules? I'm not whining and bitching lol just making an observation guys. When shit goes down hill it has to start somewhere right? I'm just pointing out that if youtube is willing to censor so much crap pretty soon its just going to be a bunch of videos that the advertisers and big shareholders want you to see. Where will this censoring stop? What if they decide its in their best interest to remove all adult search terms from google as well because it somehow would bring them more advertising revenue. Does anybody see where I'm going with this?
