You're in luck, they can only chargeback 4 months. The thing is, people who bill for years then discover, typically don't chargeback. They email to ask what this charge is, then you tell them, then are grateful once you stop the charge for them.
Porn memberships are like gym memberships, people like having them around in case they need them and it makes them feel they have a certain "status", which is true
We had a loyal member that signed up in 1999 and constantly renewed for more than a decade...even re-signed when we switched payment processors a few times.
After the first few years when we noticed his recurring loyalty we sent him an email thanking him for his continued support - just to see if he'd forgotten to cancel or something else was going on. We knew we were poking the bear at the time - but felt it was the ethical thing to do.
He replied back with several nice compliments and made a few requests with ideas for future shoots.
OP you may be a Google Expert but apparently you are not a paysite expert. LOL
There are entire businesses built on the 'they forget to cancel' model.
Ever hear of $1 trials?
I've had this concern numerous times....each account between 3 and 5 years on dead sites. I just emailed them. None of them responded. After 2 months I just canceled it. Couldn't live with myself spending that money. But I don't blame anyone who just keeps the rebills going.
