    My sports article made thebiglead and sports radio this morning.

    My sport's blog article on theshiver.com made a huge website this morning, thebiglead.com....nothing like being included among The New York Times, Fox Sports and The Wall Street Journal in the "roundup." : )

    So this morning, a local Kansas City radio station picked the article up also and named me as a sports blogger. I don't have details of what was said, however, I heard it was mostly people taking it in jest.

    Needless to say, traffic is up. The article is now all over the place, forums, blogs, etc. I can see a good amount of traffic now hitting my about page on my home blog, which I always leave in my writing signature.

                                                                                          Congrats. We had espn offering live call in for our Rays Blogger during the playoffs. Too bad she wasn't around at that time. (they contacted us like 2 hours before they wanted to air)

                                                                                          Last year sports illustrated linked to 3-4 of my articles on one of my sites on the specific teams site.

                                                                                                  congrats Corey - it's nice to be recognized for writing - when the Net was young my stuff got picked up off Usenet by sports writers - a financial newspaper contacted me to offer me a sports column - no money - i was dumb, i should have done it.

I remember you telling me about the theme last week and now they stopped selling it as of Nov 1st. All open source now. Got to see if I can still get the files and play with it. I want to use it for one of my Cubs sites.
