    What are the best, scenic driving routes across the USA?

    I am headed back to Buffalo, NY from Las Vegas, NV.
    I have made this trip 3x.
    What would be the most scenic way to get to NY from Vegas considering the weather and season? should i drive to New Orleans then up through Virgina to see the colors of the trees in the Appalachia?

    1st trip, buffalo, chicago, salt lake city, vegas.
    cons - chicago traffic. pro's - seeing the awesome West.

    2nd trip, vegas, grand junction, denver, indianapolis, buffalo
    cons - past denver boring as fuck. pro's - got to drive through awesome utah and over the rockies.

    3rd trip, buffalo, st louis, tusla, albuquerque, vegas.
    cons - again, boring until st. louis. pros - followed route 66

    4th trip, ???


    i would like the trip to take 6 days or less. what are your suggestions for a cool cross-country trip?

          "tail of the dragon" in and near maryville/smoky mountains, Tennessee very curvy plus the foilage is amazing this time of the year tons of sport bikes hit the road there as well!

                  I read about that quite often however living here in socal that's pretty much nothing. I can hit 5-6 roads like that any day within 100 miles.

                      If you do go thru Deal's Gap, please stay in your lane and dont drift across the double yellow. Lots of motorcyclists get hurt there.
