believe it or not, that first chord the song starts with was only very recently discovered. Because there was a 12 string and a 6 string involved, a lot of musicians tryed using the same and similar guitars to replicate that chord but failed. I guess they realized that there is also a keyboard in that chord playing the F note which would be impossible to play with the other notes in the chord, making it very difficult to ID

It was quite a memorable event. My buddy and I hitchhiked to SD from here. It was a festival style seating, and since Randy was the type of guy you just naturally stepped aside for, we were up front in no time.
It was a sunny Sunday afternoon. Steely Dan was the lead act. Show Biz Kids rocked.
Elton John came up with purple dye on the sides and big sunglasses. We wondered what was up.
During Saturday Nights All Right for Fighting he handed out bottles of Elderberry wine. He gave me one. I took a hit, Randy took a hit and passed it on. It was never seen again.
Was a great show, but on the way home a discussion did center around, "do you think he is gay?"Comment
