One thing touched on above in regards to foot fetish.

If you are a content producers and think ALL foot fetish folk are into ..

1. Soles
2. Socks
3. Dirty feet
4. Sub and dom foot worship only.
5. Only male and female
6. Only female and female
7. Footjobs
8. Naked, sex, hardcore, topless, toys
9. Stockings
10. Always painted toes. Always unpainted toes.

Then you do not grasp the concept.

That was just a short list. I can think of another couple of dozen easily that break into all kinds of sub niches of foot fetish.

all the foot 'fetish' I've seen in person has been worship, however I wouldn't think that that is the totality of foot 'fixation'.

I ALWAYS look at women's feet. love open toe shoes.. . do I have a foot fixation? ? nope.

one thing I do know about fetishist, from my personal experience, is that they are for the most part 'elitist' $.02

Don't forget arches, small feet big feet, short nails LONG nails, Toe rings, Anklets, Dirty feet, smelly feet is a big one * not for me My dawgs have to smell good * Then you can get into flip flops sandals etc.. the list can go on and on and on lol IMO you can tell a lot from a women how she takes care of herself, if her feet are well taken care of then 9 out of 10 times she is a clean person..

A "good" photographer is one that would research a niche first, submit to the eyes of those who understand it, and take on board all advice and info to produce targeted material containing all the necessary "triggers". But whether he has to be "into" the fetish/niche himself in order to understand it is another question.

True...BUT...he has to be willing to put the time and effort into research and learning, and be willing to do a number of "free" test shoots (because in my experience, the first five shoots, at the very least, aren't going to hit the mark) before being able to expect any return. And most really good shooters have enough work in their own areas of expertise that they don't need to do that.......

Well i guess it's impossible to be able to shoot ANY niche ... but we've over 30 niches to feed, and we're working on another 5-10. It's also impossible our photo-/videographers are into all of these :D

I think it's always a lot of research, speaking to the community, asking people with these fetishes what they want to see. Anyway, when we start shooting a new niche, the first shootings are always "unperfect" - getting better after the first 2 or 3 shootings.

So ... i doubt that there's any producer, who's shooting a niche for the first time brings up a perfect high-end work (not speaking of technical image quality, but speaking of focus, perspective, etc.) ...

Of course there may be photographers that are around for several years who are able to shoot 20-40-50-100 niches - simply based on their experience - but not "all" niches ...

I have ordered exclusive content on very specific foot niches from people that didn't specialize in that content. It came out okay when they were willing to listen to my directions and get the shots I asked for. If they didn't listen then it didn't work. That said, when I ordered from somebody who I knew totally understood the niche it was obviously better content.

It may not be enough to be hardcore foot fetishist and a good photographer / artist to create foot fetish stuff that sells. You just need to shoot what appeals to majority of the target audience, while some photographers just think it's enough to shoot what they like most. Well, it is enough if they shoot for their own sites, but they need to have and follow very precise directions from website owners if they shoot ordered material.

Usually the best micro niche comes from people that are into it and NOT photographers.

Very true....there's someone in my niche who many years ago started shooting just what HE liked...and his sales were mediocre. He kept complaining to me when I wrote lukewarm reviews of his videos in my magazine, and after a while, when I kept explaining to him that the majority of the audience wanted to see "X,Y and Z" and not just the "A" that he liked...he changed his approach, and his sales shot up.
