    Can someone explain the Walking Dead barbed wired bat-thing to me?

    I've never seen it, all I know is that its about zombies who eat people
    Is it like 2 groups of people and the guy with the bat just kills people randomly or something?

          That's a plain stupid show w/o any kind of logic. The episode you refer to is a quintessence of stupidity (sheepebility?) All that people (they thought they are family) stay on their knees and wait while the guy with the bat smashes their heads one by one. In fact he has killed just two of those stupid sheep. Such a bunch of animals.

                          TBH, I was amazed they were allowed to air that on TV. Was pretty fucking brutal.

                              The guy with the baseball bat is the leader of one group (group A). He captured the other group (group b) which is led by the guy on his knees in the middle. Previously (last season) the captured group b had raided one of the other group's A outposts and killed lots of people assuming they were eliminating a known threat that was preying on a third group (c) of friendlies.

                              It turns out the group A was much bigger than they realized and wasn't just those in the out post they raided. Rather than 15 or so people it's likely over a 100. Due to group B killing some of the group A members the leader wanted to teach them a lesson and kill a member(s) of group B then pimp group B out for resources.. (Group A goes around and forces other groups into giving them 50% of their stuff so group A preys on smaller groups like B & C to get their loots)

                              The base ball bat is what he used for the killing.. Group B is the group the series is about, so you are supposed to be attached to them more so than group's A or C.
                              In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

                                                  Personally I like the show. The first two seasons were the best though. Probably because of Frank Darabont who left after season 2. (Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Majestic, The Mist, etc..)

                                                  By the way, just watched The Mist again yesterday. Good flick. Fun.

                                                      The same fucked up censorship style works in my country as well. That TWD episode was shown "as is" on TV (Fox channel), while some movie theater was fined for showing "The Wolf of Wall Street". Do you know why? It was fined because the movie "shows use of the drugs w/o explanation of their harm". And I'm not kidding. That's a real story. They blur out even cigarettes on some channels (because "tobacco kills") but they easily show zoo porn videos (ok, some parts are pixelized, but everybody clearly understands what's shown there) in the mainstream talk shows at the day time on federal channels. Fuckin' idiots.

                                                                          I was into it last season for the first time but that cliffhanger and then the premiere was just TOO MUCH. They are going for brutal shock value now, that's all.

                                                                          I want to see fucking ZOMBIES getting killed, not other 'humans'. The zombie thing is like a video game so it's fun but brutally killing other 'survivors' is fucked up and I am losing interest big time.

                                                                                                  Watch bear Grylls for an idea how modern man would starve to death if they had to hunt and grow their own food. Even guns would be a minor advantage.
