no offense to you, your friends or anyone who dresses up for halloween but imo its a day for kids... its so stupid that im 23, and have to dress up to go to a party on friday... i think girls just have these parties as an excuse to dress like whores and then make everyone else dress up so they dont look too whorish or feel stupid

I've thought about this before too.

You look around the party, the girls are all standing around looking like whores in nurses uniforms or whatever, while the guys stand around like dickheads in Scooby-Doo costumes...

I agree but have long given up. Ranted to many times on here about it over the years. The holiday has long since been jacked from the kids, who are lucky if they even get to go out trick or treating due to less people giving out candy and even less parents willing to let their kids out due to fictional stranger danger. Then because the generations have become selfish pricks- they stole the holiday just so that they can dress up as slutty as possible. Right now aside from one haunted house commercial on TV, all of the rest are "sexy" Halloween commercials for adult parties with most sexy (slutty) costume awards.
