I was at a restaurant that was known to be haunted.it was a old mansion.I seen a figure staring at me from a window as I was walking up.I asked a waiter and he said that was the attic and nobody goes up there and has been locked for years.he went on to say the ghost would turn on the faucets and turn off lights and move things when they are closing or early in the morning.they have problems trying to get cleaners for some reason -
I have. When I was 13-15, we lived in this house that had a ghost that all of us would see. He was always walking fast down the hallway, away from the living room, and you could only see from his shoulders down, almost as if he was bent forward and jog-walking.
anyways, about a year ago, my Mom let it slip that the guy that lived there before had committed suicide with a shotgun to his head...Comment

Never. I don't believe in ghosts. I am afraid of people because they could actually rob me/kill me, hurt me etc... Ghosts don't exist.

I have a picture I took in a hotel in New Orleans that was supposed to be haunted. I was taking pics of everything and took one of the hallway because it reminded me of the hallway in The Shining. When we got the pics developed not only was their a white shadow figure at the end of the hall there was also a person reflected in a hallway mirror that no one was even remotely around.ICQ# 419 775 271

True story:
Years ago my sister and her roommate invited 2 friends over for dinner. After dinner they were sitting on the floor around a big coffee table just chatting. The party broke up early.
A couple of months later my sister and her roommate ran into one of the guys that were at their appartment that night. They started chatting and then they said "you will have to come over for dinner again soon"
The guy says "no fucking way will I ever go to your apartment again, I saw a fucking ghost in there, almost pissed my pants, that is why I left so early"
My sister said "was he a young guy in the hallway?" the guy says yes. Her roommate said "was he wearing blue jeans and a jean jacket". The guy said yes, and a black t-shirt.
Ends up all 4 people there that night saw the same ghost. They all thought everyone would think they were nuts so they said nothing to each other.
Once my sister and her roommate realized they all saw the ghost, they moved out of the apartment within days to another one.Comment

i think i was 8 or so and was sleeping over at my cousins ranch style house that was directly across the street from a graveyard.this neighborhood was basically in the middle of the desert in las vegas back then.i woke up in the middle of the night while sleeping in their living room to three witches in black clothing brewing a brew or something.they were in front of the fireplace, which had an authentic sickle hanging over it,kind of in a formation.i quickly rolled over with my back to them and laid there wide awake till the sun came up.now some say it must have been a dream but now twenty some odd years later i still have a fairly vivid memory of what happened that night.they didnt say anything,barely moved and no faces.though i don't say i know it was real,nor do i totally believe in ghosts,but that shit scared the shit out of me!

Never actually SEEN ghosts no ... but stood "face to face" with the m every day for a few years.
I lived in a historical building. Built in 1915. When we owned it, it was a grocery store, cafe, gas station and house above all that. One large two story building. It had been everything from the town's city hall, motel, dance hall, back night club and even whore house.
Anyway - the majority of the incidents revolved around windows and lights. They would open windows. Right in front of you. Even fight with you. close it and it immediately opens ... or vice versa but usually they would open. lights once in awhile. vacuum powered on and off a couple times.
One late night with no one else around, something threw a loaf of bread about 30 feet (half way to her) at my mother. just sorta flew half way at her and flopped down...
weird shit...
never "seen" anything though. I thought maybe once i saw a white fluttering behind a french doorway glass window - moved across both doors and went up...
So not really see anythign but I have fought with them

I wouldn't go as far as saying that they don't exist 100% as nobody knows that answer, it's the same as saying that God doesn't exist. I merely say that I don't believe in ghosts and I don't believe in God. They *could* be out there, but I don't know for sure and don't believe in things that I haven't seen with my own eyes that I can't debunk some how.

We bought an 80 year old home about a year ago. After purchasing it I found out that both the old occupants who live there the last 40 died in the home, at different times for different reasons. I've never seen them, but around the holidays you will get these smells of baking.. sweets and such, my wife doesn't cook sweets at home, so I know its not her. They come and go, but its rather nice.
Also, when I'm in the basement sometimes I'll get a smell of smoke, like if someone blew it in my face, then it goes away instantly. Neither of us smoke.

Never saw a ghost. But I have had a few crazy experiences with a ouija board. The pointer moved all crazy, figured it was one of the other 3 people moving it. So I threw out a question that only I knew and it fucking answered it. No way one of them knew my late grandmother's middle name, considering she passed about 8 years before I knew any of these people and never talked about her to them.
