Ok, I don't know for sure what Obama would do with our industry if he becomes President. Of course there is still some uncertainty since neither he nor McCain have actually said anything specific about adult entertainment. But it should be obvious that Obama is much less likely to fuck with us. Here are three reasons why:
1. Remember the Clinton administration. Everybody knows that porn flourished during his Presidency with no barriers. In fact, that is one of the major gripes that Republicans and Christian conservatives had against the Clinton years, is that porn exploded.
2.Obama did say during his first debate with Hillary in Hollywood, that he rejects the notion of government censorship when it comes to sex and violence on the internet. He said that parents should be responsible for what their kids watch. And also he seemed to be more concerned about violence than sex.
3.And most importantly, whoever becomes President will more than likely end up having to choose a couple of judges for the Supreme Court since it is very likely that a couple of them will be stepping down soon due to old age.
How could any of you even consider voting for Republicans after what they've done to us over the past 4 years!? All of these recent obscenity prosecutions including prosecuting John Stagliano and Evil Angel, all of this bullshit with 2257 and that bullshit prosecution and conviction of Ray Guhn are all thanks to Republicans! How can anyone who is related to this industry or loves this industry continue to vote for Republicans!?
If this industry is important to you than you could not possibly vote Republican and if you are voting Republican then obviously this industry must not be very important to you. I know there's a lot of you who don't give a shit and are going to vote for Republicans anyhow because you guys are producing tame and lame content so you don't have to worry about obscenity or maybe you're a hosting provider or you work with domains or you do seo for others and so you don't have to worry about things like 2257 or being busted for prostitution, well guess what? A lot of people in this business do have to worry about those things so it's important to them!
I hope anti-porn zealots are reading this thread, especially the ones in Congress, at the White House, the Department of Justice, and the FBI. Let's show those fucking pricks that whoever tries to stamp out basic personal liberties, basic human freedoms, our God given right to express ourselves sexually and whoever tries to bring to a halt our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is going to lose elections!
