I ordered the Mavic Pro on Sept. 29th. They say it will ship on Nov. 5th.
That's the good news...
The bad news is I didn't see a tree branch today (yesterday but haven't gone to bed yet) and I flew my Inspire 1 into it. Oh, and it was above an 8' deep creek. I recovered it and have ripped it apart, rinsed it in distilled water, washed it again in alcohol, soaked the motors in WD-40, blew the whole thing dry with canned air, and now have it sitting in a bag filled with 20lbs of rice.

They have cheap $25 dollar micro drones at Wal-Mart now. But be careful and take your time.
I got my new one caught in a tree twice today. But was able to get it down. Pretty fun.Comment

yep. Addicted already. Looking at higher priced drones now. Definitely GPS enabled, better hover control, and real time camera.
I am looking at the Phantoms and DJI Mavic Pro now.
