Rant That Was Horrid...

About an hour of pitch black - The power went, I'm house sitting for my mum in the middle of nowhere and on my own apart from Eddy the real dog - I'm a city dweller and didn't know it got that fucking dark.....

I stumbled around for a while and found my laptop - In amongst the gigs of porn I found a hundred year old episode of Big Bang Theory - That helped...

Now I can't sleep.....

It was "horrid" because for the first time in years, you had to sit still for a few moments with your own thoughts. No internet, no distractions. Scared and upset with the possibility of self realization, you quickly went on the search for any type of distraction, anything at all to remove yourself from being alone with yourself, anything to fill in the gap between your conscience thoughts and scared little man that lives buried deep inside your psyche.

Next time, try leaving the toys off and see how quickly your mind will fill up with amazing new thoughts and ideas of how to better your life.

But until then, enjoy the true darkness of watching Big Bang on your lap top.

So true! I mean, maybe the OP just get bored for a while so I'm not talking about him but few people realize how powerful is to spend five minutes at the end of the day to just think about what you did today and what can you do tomorrow to improve your life.

ahhh yes, near Catral! That's actually further away than Los Montesinos if you do ever want to drop in for a beer. Cabo Roig's only 20mins from your home Eddy.

And for those that don't get it... when the lights go out and literally you're in the middle of no where, it can get so dark that you may aswel close your eyes and just sit where you are

I went camping with my mates earlier this year and the sky was fucking amazing. So many stars that you can't see when you're living in a city or even outer suburban area.

Best thing to do during a blackout (assuming you don't live in a shithole and fear for your safety) is to go outside and look at the sky!
