Hitler was not a strategist. He fought a war on three fronts. The West. The East. The Final Solution. He ran out of bullets. How genius was that.
His generals were certifiably crazy.
He was an passionate spokesman who arrived during dismal economic times and he capitalised on the world hatred of the Jews, using them as the excuse for the woes of his country.
That's not genius, either.
All he did was unite the people against an 'enemy'. Not even an original idea, since the Jews have been thrown out of almost every society, since their beginnings. Much easier to blame the depression of the economy on a tangible, than an intangible.
Some genius.
He also kept power, using fear, force and death. That takes genius, too.
