We went swimming at the YMCA every week when I was a kid. Everything was open. Most guys walked around naked, no problem. Not giving a fuck.
Every now and then you would see a guy standing in the shower wearing swim trunks. The irony of being that self-conscious and insecure is that it only draws more attention and creates bad assumptions.
Own yourself. Worrying about what others think of you is a waste of energy, particularly because nobody is thinking about you near as much as you think.
