Yeah, I remember when 400asa was considered fairly hi-speed film back in the day.  And anything above 400iso in a digital cam was getting grainy.  Hell, I always shot at 80iso in my first Olympus E10 DSLR - I just refused to go higher.
 
Now I'm seeing some of these sports photogs shooting 5000-8000iso - and getting very little grain.  Digital has come a long way in a very short span of time. |
