9000 posts - Who would you like to see perform at the next Players Ball?

9000 posts! I never seem to catch when I break into the next thousand, but this time I caught it.

So since it's that time of year when I make my arrangements for the next year of Players Balls, let's discuss who you'd like to see.

Also, if you have any trade shows you'd like to see our event at, let me know here.

I do have some things in the works right now, nothing is 100% yet.

And Rock The Ball is also on the plate for 2009 (Cybernet Expo is locked in)

do you really think that this industry can handle or even justify that kind of sponsorship right now?

post some more realistic possibilities people. i can tell by the artists posted that many do not get the dynamics of what it takes to do an event of this nature.

personally i think you should do metal skool and disco pimps over and over again. they make sense and you're not stuffing money in some artists pockets who don't give a jack shit about this industry.

this industry is in a very fragile state right now, the economy is shit, and the last thing i'm worried about is if i'm gonna see lil wayne play at a trade show. and don't give me this shit that every thing is fine or i'm gonna post baghdad bob in your replies. lol.

you know how i feel about cha d, just my thoughts, honest thoughts. i would like to see d$ come to a show and just enjoy himself with us. get a drink by the bar, and listen to the great background musak as we reminisce. lol.

Ice Cube

Tribe Called Quest (you all would love this show)

Ludacris

Kid Rock

Out of those options, Tribe Called Quest would be the most affordable.

Now the realistic part is whether or not our industry wants to support a party like the Players Ball. I do realize times are tough, so I will have very affordable back up options incase we can't raise enough money.

Old school bands are also a consideration.
