Here's a pic of a pretty little guy that used to hang out in my backyard. I think his family left him behind when they moved He's fixed already, but I wanted to trap him and take him to a shelter, because he's very cute, friendly, and highly adoptable. Unfortunately, he doesn't come around anymore since I got a new dog. Last I saw him, he appeared to be well fed, and was chillin' on a tall fence next to a cat-sized possum, guess he found a new family...

That's awesome!! I've never heard of those little boxes for the feral feline.
The kitty I'm holding in my profile photo was one that I was fostering. She and her sister found a home right when I sent them back to the shelter though. They would have been strays had the person who found them not found them. I pretty much help out by fostering. It gives the house so much joy too.LisaComment

Considering the circumstances of why you did it, that was the most noble and humane thing you could have done for him. He was suffering enough already. It is painful to have to do that, but you have to feel good for ending his suffering.A small Browning .380 and it fucking sucked! I have no idea how people hunt, if I was hungry I could do it obviously I shot a kitty because I had too, but I will leave that to the men. You kill and I have no problem cooking. I was crying when I did it which didn't help. If anyone was around and saw me doing this they would cry too, unless they didn't have a soul. haha
But I told the boys that kitty finally died, I didn't tell them I shot him, and they made him a nice little grave with RIP Gray Kitty. Damn cat had me crying for 2 days and it wasn't even mine. It just sucks to have to be the one to do the actual killing.LisaComment

He is still a baby. It's amazing how kitties adopt humans. I am glad he found somewhere to live. My cat lived outside for years, through Canadian winters, before I got him. Took ages to get him used to the house but he's the biggest suck now. Good luck to you!ICQ: 91139591Comment
