Unfortunatly stuff like this does happen from time to time. I'd say I have 1 problem/difficult client in every 20. (and its always the wannabe's)
To protect myself I have a strict payment policy. Anything under 200 dollars is full payment in advance. Anything over 200 dollars is 50/50. It doesnt stop me getting burnt every now and then. But it sure eases the pain when it does happen.

Do you know what domain he ordered a design to?

When I place an order, I always pay. If the seller want the money upfront, no problem with me. Ask gimme-website, kandah or any I have bougth sets/designs/etc.. from.

always ask for atleast 50% upfront.. if the buyer is serious he shouldnt have a problem..

Damn.. I'm really sorry to hear that.. Hope its going to get solved.

I got similar problem with Tyler245, I'm waiting more than a month for the payment. His latest excuse was that he don't have epassporte money, but only paypal and he can't find a person to do the transfer.. Finally, I found someone but Tyler is gone way too long. And yes, he IS using my design @ http://www.assofparadise.com

Should start drama soon, too tired now :|

i recently had a guy rip me off too, named jstraat. I did some work for him before, went all good. He had me make him 2 tubes, then like 5000 changes and suddenly vanished. I've deleted both sites and haven't heard from him...

Sorry to hear. The name of this guy you show us isnt real, but he is from Holland and living in Amsterdam. I got scammed by him 2 or 3 years ago. I was so stupid to make him over 120 galleries and asking for money when the work was delivered. He never paid me.
