Do you keep check stubs all around your computer?

All I have on my desk is speakers, monitor, clock, phone, checks yet to be deposited and a bunch of scribbled notes to myself.

Stubs are in the filing cabinet.

yeah, my whole desk is piled up to a few inches deep except for a small area just big enough for the mouse to move around (but the mouse hand still bumps into things)

Im a bit of a klutz, so my desk ALWAYS has oodles of papertowels/napkins around "just in case"

Yes, check stubs, napkins, post-it notes, cd cases, dead pens, notebooks, and something I can't figure out: a bottle of wood glue.

Laptop (sometimes), Printer, Scanner, monitor, random shit from time to time, etc... I try to keep my desk clean. It sucks when you have a messy desk.

What I have on my desk now are three cell phones, a flashlight, chapstick, two sets of keys, two bic lighters, one napkin, a swiss pocket knife, sunglasses case, portable harddrive, some cd cases, a phone, a zippo and two books. Damn, that's a lot of shit.

i admit - it has all my business - but it is also a mess. batteries - camera - random 1 dollar bills - the passport i just bought and havent used. printer computer dual screen laptop of course- thats a given - but a lot of random shit that dosnt need to be here. My check stubs are close but no i dont use them for coasters

Hmm, inventory time.

An ashtray, alarm clock (for those mornings I fall asleep in the office), smokes/bic lighter, and recently a digital ION USB turntable wired into the older Satelite laptop (I'm on a vinyl recording kick lately).

Not too messy...seen it lots worse over the years.
