    What woukld GFY be without Trolls?

    Certainly a lot smaller. Take away the "political" trolls. The Trumpeteers, anti-pro gun lobby, BLM, etc threads and it would be very small.

    So Troll away and tell me how useless I am, I'm off for my afternoon nap.

                                                                              I disagreed with this approach while I was working. The last thing I would do is help a competitor get better.

                                                                              OK I understand why sponsors liked to appear helpful, to get more people to throw traffic at them, but the info people want is everywhere online. Unless one is asking the trustworthiness of a company or something simple. Google is your best teacher.

                                                                              I found the URL for how Alexa works when asked if I know. It was so simple, not that I bothered to read it.

                                                                              Today a lot of the advice is BS from people who are straight lying about their position in the industry.

                                                                                              If every blog & site linked to each other, yes, some companies may lose a few sales, but in general I believe the ones that walk away & didn't buy are the ones that would buy from another companies product, site or content.

                                                                                              It's stupid to lose money that can be made from quality traffic that's walking away because they want some thing else!

Problem is 99.999% don't need to buy because of all the tiny fishermen who can only sling bait into the waters. The less feeding off the fish the more there is for those left.

                                                                                                  And the quality of some is appalling, one has lost half his traffic in 2 years, another is still pushing tired, bad content, another is online 14-16 hours a day pretending to be worth money.

                                                                                                              Understanding your thoughts, but there's still a lot of people wanting to see amateur, or that certain woman, maybe loads of party scenes, piss vids, niche that some of us do not film..

I can't see why it can't happen online

So the obsessive, compulsive, bipolar, extremely negative, etc. troll like tornados constantly forcing people off the board.

I have a couple handfuls of people I've been mentoring on a couple social media platforms, most for months, a couple for longer, no way I'm bringing them to GFY until the rules here are regularly enforced again. I can handle banned user Beaner aka Plaster trolling me drunk and insulting me after most every post day after day but no way I'm introducing newbies under my wing to that

I know because I have audited load balancer server logs -- of Xlove2 and all of the other domains and White Labels that we have -- you don't get internal records. I don't get internal records of my competitors' websites so I make no public claims I cannot support like you do -- Assumptive Asshat thinly based wild claims.

                                                                                                                                                                      That is not to say I do not make subjective assessments based on public data but I don't rely on these assumption in toto to make businesses decisions. This class of vague assumptions is not a basis for any substantial business model change or expenditures.

                                                                                                                                                                                  I recommend gfy to peeps who are in adult already but want to learn more about the webmaster end of the business, along with a couple other spaces. there actually is good info here, if one sifts through the polemics, hate posts and flame wars. I have a list of threads I send to peeps who want to explore but avoid the dross, most don't end up joining the forum but they still benefit from it
