    Okay, what have i missed?

    Right then, I've been away for a few days thanks to a harddrive failure and the total inability of the windows backup to actually work! (Thank god for actually having some sort of backup and the ability to delve into it with virtual drive).
    Anyway, any juicy gossip I missed?

          Well, firstly I ripped a harddrive out of an old sky box but in the end I decided to get something bigger. The whole saga was a total cluster-fuck totally brought on by Windows being completely unable to do a proper system image restore. Luckily, the old drive lasted (just) enough to get an image restore done in the first place - even if I couldn't use it properly and had to mount the image as a virtual drive and go in and manually retrieve the files.
          Lots and lots of swearing and smoking and stomping around the house!
