    i think its a cool thing to do

    X-mas tree's at christmas....snowflakes during winter & an american flag on veterans day, memorial day & now sept 11th.

    I figure we are a form of media, i like to keep my surfers updated on my political views & so forth throughout the year...so it only seems fitting.

      I agree...shutting your site down for the days seems a little extreme.... honor the people that died by continuing to live your life.. not shutting it down....
