Had a girl stay with me last year for a few months from there. She wants to come back this year in a few months. Everything I hear from her is they shoot ya for cell phones, electricity cuts daily, government works 3 days a week to help with electricty shortage, like a hunt to find food/medicine, some people eating dogs, internet sucks, etc... Only thing I hear good there is cheap gas which ya need as gotta drive all over the place to try to find anything. They got a shit load of oil but demand is down so no money to import the shit they need as they don't make anything. I talk to her almost daily and only seems to be getting worse. She sent me pics of grocery store and 80-90% of the place empty. People fighting for shit now as limited supply. Dollar would go far there but hard to buy shit if they ain't got anything and good chance of trouble finding ya if ya got dollars.

Appreciate some of the comments, but not all are constructive. Nonetheless business is business, and I am still looking for contacts who are based in Venezuela. Will be looking to make contact with others in various Latin American countries soon.
