It's hard to go back to anything else after using Slack.

I'm in about six Slack teams, from Laravel to Internal Company ones. It's great.

Our team has used it for roughly 2 years now. No longer communicate by Skype, very rarely communicated by email. Great tool.

It's going to be empty for a while, but I'd like it to build up. Could be a good resource if enough people participate.

I've set up an adult industry Slack team, if anyone is interested feel free PM me for an invite.

Tried it, didn't really like it as it didn't really fulfill our needs, so we switched back to Skype and the good ole e-mail..I realize I'm in the minority here

We use Slack internally and it's been great. There is so much more communication between our staff now and they have also recommended numerous channels for collaboration. We used to have our own Jabber server but Slack blows it out of the water...
