yep. no fucking gas at any pumps.

the places that had it for a few minutes today, raised the prices to over 5 bucks a gallon and are now being hit by the state attorney.

they didnt care, i seen one place that had gas, and had 200 cars rapped around it, 5.22 a gallon.

    um.

got a half a tank in a jeep commander...

I just filled my Durango's tank at $3.57 per gallon here in upstate, NY. But that's probably because all of the oil comes from here in the North. Oh wait...

I was in Nashville over the weekend and if I hadn't already heard about it, I would have been screwed - no gas there. The news stations are talking about how bad it is in Atlanta too. Up here we have gas and it's only $3.99 a gallon (never thought I'd be happy at that price.......)

That's really, really weird. Why the localised shortage?

Gas prices have fallen considerably up here, down to $1.32 a litre.

Yeah. My mom and sis ran out the other day riding around looking for a station with gas. here where I live in GA there isnt a station within 15 miles that has gas and as soon as we get some in people buy it up in like 5 minutes. They have started putting a $25 limit on each purchase.

You people crack me up. Its $7-8 a gallon here in Europe. And wasn't much less even before the oil crisis. You are driving almost for free.

still don't understand why Europeans compare gas prices with the U.S. - everything is relative.. bah, I dont have time nor the inclination

yeah no gas in greenville, SC either ... had to hit 6 stations before waiting in line for seriously almost 45 minutes to fill up at $4.39. Lots of places around here have been tapped for days. only a few places have it at all

Perhaps if you folks were as willing to ignore the human rights violations of the Saudi government as we are, you could be driving around on almost-free gas too.
