      My attitude is simple. If someone wants to do business with me, I will use whatever they are more comfortable with. It doesn't matter to me: Skype, ICQ, Jabber, CryptoCat, telephone or behind the Denny's - doesn't matter to me

          Having few installed is ok, but are you claiming you would install anything unknown to you just for one contact? Do not forget it is not like that contact does not have an email and is using only that rare one unknown chat app.

              Good point. It depends on the client and the stage of our engagement. If we have an existing relationship and they choose to do most of their business via whatsapp or facebook chat, I'd adapt. For prospecting, I try to cover what I can and build the relationship with existing tools. If there is opportunity and they prefer a different messenger, I'll try and support it too
